The Offical 'Signed' Thread

Postby Heinz Hitman on Sun Feb 28, 2010 5:47 pm

With Free Agency starting this Friday, I figured I would get this thread warmed up and ready to go so we can list all of the free agents our Steelers sign. Or..uh...at least the ones that other teams sign.
The Steelers were named after the American Steel Workers - the men who helped to build America. The Browns were named after Paul Brown - the man who helped to build...the Bengals. hahaha

Oh, and Karlos Dansby signs with the Dolphins. And I believe I saw where they re-signed Pennington.

the bold would be very good news for Phins fans if his arm is recovered because without him they are 8-8 at best and with him they have a chance to contend for the division IMO

Thomas Jones just wrapped up a deal with the Chiefs. Nice signing for them, and eliminates the need for Willie Parker.

Broncos sign DE Jarvis Green and DT Jamal Williams. If Williams has something left in his tank then this becomes a huge pickup for them. When he is on his game is about unstoppable.

How big of a hit to Jamaal Charles' fantasy status is the Thomas Jones signing? He was set to become a fantasy stud this year, but no doubt TJ will steal some carries away from him.

The San Diego Chargers SHOULD make a go at Willie Parker. They kind of still have a FB in that kid from LSU and Parker loves running behind a FB. With LT out of the picture it seems like a good fit.
Where's the incentive to work and to save when government coddles us cradle to grave?

Dolphins over paid bigtime IMO ......Santonio Holmes netted a 5th round selection both have same amount of NFL exp same age and just 200 yards career difference in reception yards , Holmes also can return punts and has SB exp ( and MVP attached to his name ) Both are troubled players ..One player equates to 2 second round picks one equates to one 5th round pick ...you tell me who got the better deal the Jets or the Dolphins ......................
